A Place For Us
A Note from Angela P. Bradford, Founder & CEO of Feasting Sisters
Hello! It's me, Angela! I wanted to give you some insight into how Feasting Sisters came to be. It started with a desire to have a Bible study group for women who shared my same cultural norms, traditions and identity. I envisioned a place where we women gather together to learn about who we are in Christ Jesus and, empowered with this knowledge, begin to walk in the victory that is ours in Christ! A place where we affirm and encourage one another and also hold each other accountable in our walk with the Lord. A place where we support each other as we seek to find and live out God's plan and purpose for each of our lives, along with its trials and its triumphs. A place where love and peace abound, not judgment and criticism, so that there could be a fostering of transparency. If such a place resonates with you, please consider accepting our invitation. What We Believe
For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. - Ephesians 2:10

Workmanship in the original Greek is "poiema," (masterpiece, a work of art). The Greek word for poet comes from this word. When God saved us, He (our POET) put forth His most powerful and creative effort to make us anew in Christ Jesus!
So, if God created EACH of us as His own POEM for good works, what does He want to SAY through YOU to the world?
Our Prayer
Almighty God, You have given us grace at this time with one accord to make our common supplication to you; and you have promised through your Beloved Son that when two or three are gathered together in His Name, You will be in the midst of them. Fulfill now, O LORD, our desires and petitions as may be best for us, granting us in this world knowledge of Your truth, and in the age to come everlasting life. Amen.
